Create, share and revoke a client shortlist

Send selected current listings through a private link and collect structured feedback.

For: Agents & developers, Property seekers2 min readReviewed

Before you start

  • The agent needs an eligible active client requirement and the access needed to edit shortlists. Keep the title safe for the client to see.

Step-by-step instructions

  1. Open Client shortlists in Lead Manager and start a new shortlist for the intended requirement.
  2. Set the client-visible title and introduction, and keep private notes in their private field.
  3. Add the matching public listings you want to present and review their order and current availability.
  4. Create the private link only when ready to share. Copy it immediately: the token is not repeatedly displayed.
  5. Send it only to intended recipients. Link holders can use the interest and comment controls available on the shared shortlist.
  6. Review the feedback and revoke, replace or allow the link to expire when it should no longer work.

Workspace links may ask you to sign in. Access depends on your role, plan and the records shared with you.

What a link holder sees

The public shortlist view does not expose the private client name, contact details, budget, requirement criteria or agent notes. The chosen title, introduction and shared feedback are visible, so do not put confidential information there.

Properties are checked for current public availability. A removed listing can become unavailable inside an existing shortlist; the link does not preserve a right to inspect it.

Troubleshooting

A link is paused or expired
Check the link state, requirement status and plan. Generate a replacement only through the agent's authorised controls; do not try to edit a token.
