Record client requirements and review matching properties

Keep a client's criteria private and understand optional matching with other agents.

For: Agents & developers, Landlords2 min readReviewed

Before you start

  • Have authority to store the client's information and use a plan that permits the actions you need.

Step-by-step instructions

  1. Open Lead Manager and Client requirements.
  2. Create an active requirement with the client's private name/contact information and the property criteria shown.
  3. Set transaction, location, currency, budget and any applicable price period or minimum room counts carefully.
  4. Review the matching public listings and the stated match reasons. Confirm the property with its advertiser before proposing it to a client.
  5. Decide separately whether to enable matching visibility to other agents. Review the published-profile and plan prerequisites.
  6. Pause or close a requirement when it no longer applies, and review any shortlists or suggestions associated with it.

Workspace links may ask you to sign in. Access depends on your role, plan and the records shared with you.

Private criteria versus optional reach

A client's contact details and private notes are not public requirements. Optional reverse matching exposes the permitted anonymous reference and the agent's eligible public profile, not the private client file.

A paused or closed requirement, missing public profile or insufficient plan can stop matching visibility. A matching suggestion is not a promise that the property meets every real-world need.

Troubleshooting

I cannot see a requirement in reverse matching
Check its active state, sharing switch, profile publication and plan. Saved searches are not opted-in client requirements.
