1. Advertise accurately and with authority
- Do not advertise property without the necessary authority, misrepresent your role or invent a licence, identity, ownership or verification claim.
- Do not publish false prices, incorrect price periods, misleading availability, inaccurate locations, bait-and-switch offers or descriptions of a different property.
- Use photographs and other materials you have permission to use. Identify illustrations as illustrations and disclose material limitations or additional charges.
- Do not create duplicate accounts or listings to evade moderation, limits or an enforcement decision. Legitimate separate units or authorised co-listings must be described accurately.
2. Respect people and their information
- Do not threaten, harass, impersonate, unlawfully discriminate, defraud or exploit another person.
- Do not publish identity documents, bank details, private messages, security codes or another person’s contact information without a lawful reason and the necessary authority.
- Use enquiries and client information only for the legitimate purpose for which access was provided. Do not harvest contacts or send unsolicited bulk marketing.
- Do not share private links, team access or documents beyond the permissions you are authorised to grant. Follow applicable privacy and professional obligations.
- Do not use the service for unlawful transactions, fraudulent payment requests or content that infringes another person’s rights.
3. Protect the service
- Do not upload malicious files, probe accounts you do not control, circumvent authentication or interfere with security, limits, audit records or another user’s access.
- Do not scrape private or restricted data, bulk-copy advertiser content, or run automated activity that overloads or disrupts the service. Ordinary permitted search-engine indexing and authorised integrations are distinct from abusive extraction.
- Do not falsify enquiries, views, clicks or reports to manipulate metrics, promotions or moderation. Do not bypass a tracking refusal or other user privacy choice.
- Do not resell restricted access or remove copyright notices to pass someone else’s content off as your own.
4. Reports and review
Use the report control on a public listing to flag a problem. For account misuse, copyright, privacy or an enforcement complaint, contact support@propertyhunt.ng with a link or reference and an explanation. Do not include unnecessary sensitive documents.
We may investigate, request clarification, correct visibility, remove content or restrict access where reasonably necessary. A report or duplicate flag is not proof of wrongdoing. We protect reporter information and can withhold details that would compromise another person’s privacy or an investigation. You can request review by replying with the relevant reference and reasons. Legal remedies and statutory rights remain available.
