Send and respond to agent-to-agent property suggestions

Discuss a matching property with another agent without exposing the client's private file.

For: Agents & developers, Agency teams2 min readReviewed

Before you start

  • Use a suggestion associated with an eligible public listing and a requirement available through the permitted matching workflow.

Step-by-step instructions

  1. Open the available matching-client or suggestion workflow for your property.
  2. Review the anonymous requirement information and the receiving agent's eligible public profile.
  3. Send a relevant suggestion using the controls provided; do not request a client's private details simply because a match appears.
  4. Use Agent suggestions to review sent and received threads.
  5. The receiving agent can review, shortlist or decline through the controls shown. The sender can withdraw where permitted.
  6. Keep any further co-listing or commission arrangement separate: a suggestion does not create those permissions or agreements.

Workspace links may ask you to sign in. Access depends on your role, plan and the records shared with you.

Matching and access can end

A requirement or listing can cease to qualify, and a thread can be declined or withdrawn. The screen's current state determines the actions still permitted.

Messages in this workflow are between the relevant agents. They are not replies to the original buyer's enquiry unless sent through that separate conversation.

Troubleshooting

The suggestion is no longer one of mine
Check the signed-in account and whether the thread has become unavailable. Support needs a reference, not a copied private client file.
