Accept an invitation and use your landlord or tenant portal

Claim the share with the intended account and read only the property or tenancy records shared with you.

For: Landlords, Tenants2 min readReviewed

Before you start

  • Use the private invitation sent by the managing agent and the account intended to receive it.

Step-by-step instructions

  1. Open the invitation privately and check that it refers to the expected property or tenancy.
  2. Sign in or register as directed, then claim the invitation using the correct account.
  3. If it says it is waiting for the agent, ask the agent to review and confirm your claim. Claiming is not necessarily immediate access.
  4. Once active, open Landlord portal or Tenant portal from your workspace.
  5. Review the record summaries, shared documents and any specific actions offered to your role.
  6. If access ends or a record is paused, read the message and contact the sharing agent. Do not rely on previously loaded data as continuing permission.

Workspace links may ask you to sign in. Access depends on your role, plan and the records shared with you.

The portal reflects the agent's records

Rent totals, payment records and maintenance progress are supplied through the managing workspace. They are not independent bank verification, an automatically signed tenancy or a guarantee that an external service was performed.

You do not gain the agent's entire portfolio, private client information, all internal notes or every uploaded document. Ask the agent about a missing record before assuming a download or number is wrong.

Troubleshooting

I registered but the portal is empty
Check whether you claimed the correct invitation and the agent confirmed it. Account creation or account type alone is not the share.
