Before you start
- The owner must have the underlying Property Manager access and explicitly choose the scope and recipient.
Step-by-step instructions
- Open the team's Property management section.
- Choose an eligible owned property or a single tenancy and an approved member. Read and confirm the private-data disclosure shown before assigning it.
- The staff member opens the assigned scope, which contains only the sections permitted by their role.
- A manager can propose allowed operational changes. An accountant can propose an expense within their permitted financial scope. Agents have narrower operational visibility and no proposal powers from that role.
- The owner reviews each pending proposal against the current source record and approves or rejects it with any required explanation.
- Remove or reassign the scope when work changes. Review pending proposals that may no longer be usable after an access or record change.
Workspace links may ask you to sign in. Access depends on your role, plan and the records shared with you.
Operational and financial access are different
A manager's assignment can include repairs, applications and tenant requests without financial records. An accountant sees permitted charges, payments, expenses and summaries with tenant names, not tenant contact details or operational case files.
Submitting a proposal does not itself change the source record. Approval applies the permitted operation through the owner's workspace, and a stale or invalid proposal may have to be replaced.
Troubleshooting
- A proposal is no longer usable
- Reload the source record, check access and review the reason. Do not approve an old request against a materially changed property or tenancy.
