Use the property map and understand location limits

Switch between map and list views and interpret map pins without assuming survey-level accuracy.

For: Property seekers, Agents & developers1 min readReviewed

Before you start

  • The map needs internet access and a working tile provider. A property needs usable coordinates to appear as a pin.

Step-by-step instructions

  1. Open Property search and choose its map or combined view.
  2. Apply your search filters, then inspect the pins alongside the result cards.
  3. Select a pin or property card to identify the matching listing. Open its detail page for the full information.
  4. If a card has no corresponding pin, check whether coordinates are missing rather than assuming the listing has disappeared.
  5. Confirm the exact location and viewing arrangements with the advertiser before travelling.

Workspace links may ask you to sign in. Access depends on your role, plan and the records shared with you.

Pins are a search aid

Coordinates and any approximate-location notices are supplied with the listing. A pin does not establish a property's boundary, address accuracy or title.

The browser requests map images from the provider shown in the attribution. That provider can receive your IP address and the requested map area; this is separate from optional listing analytics.

Troubleshooting

The map is blank but cards load
Check the connection, browser blocking and map-provider availability. Continue in list view while the map is unavailable.
