Before you start
- Email delivery must be configured and the workspace writable. Automatic categories and the overall email switch are off until enabled.
Step-by-step instructions
- Open the relevant reminder screen or Property Manager's automatic reminder settings.
- For a manual reminder, review the source record, recipient, preview and send-readiness information before using the offered send action.
- For automation, choose the categories, day windows, overdue frequency and local send hour from the options offered.
- Review the sample wording and recipient rules, then save the settings and check whether the automation is On, Off or Paused.
- Review due work and history after the server's scheduled sweep. Settings alone do not send every reminder immediately.
- Read each outcome, including skipped, failed or uncertain, before deciding whether another send is appropriate.
- Turn off the relevant category or overall email switch when automatic reminders should stop.
Workspace links may ask you to sign in. Access depends on your role, plan and the records shared with you.
Accepted is not delivered
A mail provider accepting a message is not proof it reached an inbox or was read. An uncertain outcome should be investigated before retrying to avoid duplicates.
Recipients come from the relevant saved record or confirmed portal according to the feature. Tenant and landlord 'coming up' summaries are read-only portal information, not access to the agent's reminder configuration.
Troubleshooting
- Automation is paused
- Read whether mail is unavailable, no category is enabled, the workspace is closed or editing is restricted. Correct that blocker rather than repeatedly switching it on.
